Chhattisgarh registers total polling of 76.28% in the first phase of state assembly polls
Chhattisgarh Times Raipur: Chhattisgarh registered a total polling of 76.28% in the first phase of state assembly election in 18 constituencies held on Monday.
As per records released by State Cheif Electoral Officer, maximum polling of 85.15% was registered in Dongargaon constituency. The second highest polling of 84.48% was registered in Khujji constituency. Similarly, third highest polling of 84.31% was registered in Khairagarh constituency.
Cheif Minister Raman Singh’s Rajanandgaon constituency registered polling of 78.66% while a polling of 82.53% was registered in Dongargarh and Mohla Manpur registered polling of 80.00%.
Among the Maoist hit constituencies of the state, Bastar registered a maximum polling of 83.51% while Bijapur registered minimum polling of 47.35%.
Other Maoist hit constituencies including Antagarh registered polling of 74.45%, Bhanupratappur registered polling of 76.77%, and Kanker registered polling of 78.54%.
Similarly, Keshkal constituency registered polling of 81.32%, Kondagaon registered polling of 82.84%, Narayanpur registered polling of 74.40%, Jagdalpur registered polling of 78.24%, Chitrakot registered polling of 80.31%, Dantewada registered polling of 60.62% and lastly Konta registered polling of 55.30%.
