ATAL VIKAS YATRA: BJP national president Amit Shah confident of party’s return to power for fourth consecutive time in the state

Dongargadh: Amit Shah flagged off the Atal Vikas Yatra at a massive rally from here in Dongargarh. Offering prayers at the Bamleshwari Temple and amidst slogans of “Bharat Mata ki jai” Shah said that Chhattisgarh ,carved by the then Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee dreamt of a prosperous state and its people and to live this dream and make it realise the only possibility is voting back the BJP government to power under the able leadership of Raman Singh.He said at the helm of things BJP led by Narendra Modi at the center and Raman Singh at the state is a winning combination for the state and country to prosper,be secured and all round development .Drawing a parallel between a double decker train and this combination he said things will definitely change for the better and which already has borne fruit and showed result.
In a scathing attack on the Congress and Gandhi scion Rahul Gandhi was also at the receiving end drawing flak from Shah. Addressing him as “Shehzade” he said people will show Congress the door for their ill governance of past forty years. Criticising the erstwhile UPA government for the massive coal scam he said with BJP coming to power transparency in the government machinery has been a must.Lauding the achievements of Raman Singh government Shah said that inspite of various possibilities the UPA regime never explored or ventured any one of them whereas the present government has worked tirelessly for the development of the state.
Rajnandgaon district got its fair share with developmental work worth 828 crores and 60000 beneficiaries receiving 30crores in kind and financial assistance. Among the achievements of the government in this part of the state is the newly constructed 51km Khairagarh-Dongargarh-Tumribod Road, Sukhanala Barrage and Dhamdha-Rohda-Joratarai-Athriya-Khairagarh Road constructed at a cost of 139,109 and 92 crores  respectively.
